CoRWM has completed its work to produce an agreed and up-to-date inventory of radioactive wastes in the UK.  It provides a basis for assessing the management options in our next phase of work.  These reports were completed in the Autumn following confirmation of the 2004 radioactive waste inventory data.

CoRWM has commissioned a study examining some of the issues surrounding plutonium management. This document presents a summary of the estimated inventories of civil plutonium in the UK, techniques for immobilisation or utilisation of the plutonium stocks and consideration of these techniques against CoRWM's short-listed options identified for the management of radioactive waste.
